Semtech Adds to New Platform of Silicon Voltage Regulators for Space Applications Company gains MIL-PRF-19500/406 qualification of 74 new 1.5W Zener diode parts Semtech announced it has received MIL-PRF-19500/406 qualification from Defense Supply Center Columbus, (DSCC) of its brand new 1.5W Zener diode voltage regulator platform. The qualification adds 74 low, medium and high range Zener diodes (part numbers ranging from 1N4460 to 1N4496) to Semtech’s product line of DSCC-qualified high reliability discrete semiconductors. “This launch marks another family of new QPL products that Semtech has produced specifically for the aerospace and space markets, and is the second of several new product introductions we will bring to market in the coming months,” said Jose Vargas, Vice President, Microwave and High Reliability Product Group for Semtech.  “With this /406 qualification, Semtech is able to support its customers to overcome market shortages and long leadtimes for these devices while meeting their requirements of delivering a high quality product and superior service.”
